ACTIVITY N°3: Reading
Good old days
I´m a very old man now,and things change. When I was young, everything was different. There
weren´t so many decisions to make. We were not as free as young people today. But there weren´t
as many problems. In a way, life was easier.
Take marriage, for example. Who were you going to marry? It was simple. Just ask your parents.
They were happy to find a wife for you.
Of course, you could look for a wife yourself. But you and she couldn´t just decide to marry. You
had to ask your father and her father. They could say yes or no . They could decide. We couldn´t.
You see? Everything was different.
Circle T ( True) or F ( False). Then correct the false sentences
