Female 1: OK., so let´s talk about global warming. It starts with fossil fuels, right?
Male 1: Yeah, gasoline oil….. you know. I like that.
Male 2: So, what will happen if we continue to burn fossil fuels?
Female 1: More carbon dioxide will go into the atmosphere.
Female 2: And less heat will escape. So the Earth will get warmer.
Male 1: And the ice caps will melt, and the oceans will rise, and this city will be under water.
Male 2: So, do you think we´ll avoid global warming?
Female 1: We won´t avoid it unless we make a lot of changes.
Male 1: Yeah, right If we find a cheap, renewable, nonpolluting source of energy, we´ll be fine.
Male 2: Well, there´s solar power, and wind.
Female 2: They´re not that cheap.
Female 1: And people just don´t care that much. If they don´t care, they won´t demand a change and nothing will happen.
Male 2: So you´re saying unless people demand something better…?
Male 1: Nothing will change. Exactly

Explicación:
El condicional Tipo 1 se emplea para referirse al presente o futuro cuando la situación es real. El condicional tipo 1 se refiere a una condición posible y su resultado probable. En estas oraciones, la cláusula "if" adopta el "simple present" y la proposición principal el "simple future".
