A wheel with radious 75 cm is made of a hoop with mass 1.9 Kg and four rods with mass 0.7 Kg and length 75 cm. What is its moment of inertia when rotating around a perpendicular axis that goes through its center? (kg*m^2)

Inertia is the property that bodies possess to oppose a change in their state of rest or movement in which they find themselves.

r = 75 cm = 0.75 m

m1 = 1.9 Kg

Four rods with mass 0.7 Kg a

L = 75 cm.

What is its moment of inertia when rotating around a perpendicular axis that goes through its center? (Kg * m ^ 2)

I = R² (M + 4/3 * m)

I = (0.75 m) ² (1.9 kg + 4/3 × 0.7 kg)

I = 1.59 kg * m²
