In the first story, a group of boys can't escape from a place called the Glade. Dangerous creatures guard the only way out and the boys aren't brave (1) to try to escape. They believe that it is (2) dangerous to leave at night because (3) of the boys have disappeared. But then Teresa arrives. She's the first girl to enter the Glade, and she's the only one with (4) knowledge to help them escape. She seems to be a hero. However, later in the series, it becomes clear that Teresa had (5) understanding of the boys' mysterious situation in the Glade to be a hero. She seems to make (6) bad decisions that damage her friendships. Teresa is a complicated character and that's why I like her!​
