Was not   = wasn't (contracción del verbo)
Were not = weren't (contracción del verbo)

Como ejemplo tenemos:

I was not at home last night = I wasn't at home last night
You were not reading the book = You weren't reading the book

1) She wasn't in the school yesterday
2) She wasn't playing soccer
3) She wasn't washing her hands
4) He wasn't eating lunch
5) I wasn't studying in the class

1) They weren't doing their homework
2) They weren't making their project
3) You weren't seeing the dogs
4) We weren't making noise at the church
5) You weren't in your house yesterday
