Respuesta:

Petroleum is a mixture of organic compounds, mainly hydrocarbons insoluble in water. It is also known as black gold, crude oil, or simply crude oil.

Mexico has been an oil country since the beginning of the last century, exploiting its hydrocarbons in the Tampico and Cerro Azul regions, and in the south of Veracruz and Tabasco.

Oil is a great generator of energy and the world economy moves with energy. Oil generates approximately, depending on economic conditions, about 2.5% of the world's gross domestic product (GDP), and almost contributes a third of the total energy used by humanity.
