Realmente los únicos verbos copulativos puros en inglés son to be, to become y to seem.
Ejemplos
to act
Juan acted nervous when the teacher found the note.
to appear
She appeared angry
to be
My neighbour was a lovely man
to become
She became a journalist
to come
Dreams come true when we believe in them
to feel
The jeans feel good
to get
The theater gets dark when the show is about to begin.
to go

to grow
He grew stronger every day after the break up.
to keep
