Formar adjetuvis y sustantivos a través de nacionalidades y nombres de países no es siempre simple en inglés. Algunos ejemplos de esto:


Country: I live in Japan.
Adjective: He likes Japanese food.
Origins: She is a Japanese person. = She is from Japan. = She is Japanese.
Language: She speaks Japanese.
Describing a group: Spaniards often drink wine. = Spanish people often drink wine.
Describing a group: The Chinese enjoy fireworks. = Chinese people enjoy fireworks.

Algunas oraciones interrogativas con nacionalidades
:

Is Dimitri really Russian? Yes, he was born in Moscow. 

Where is she from? She is from Portugal, she is Portuguese

Carlos and Pedro are from Spain, but where is Martin from? He is from Canada. 

Is Peter French? No, he is Belgian.

Where are you from? I am from Venezuela. 

Xander is ukranian, and where is her girlfriend from? She is from Ukraine as well. 

Is Jean from France? Yes, he is. 

Where are your friends from? They are from Cambodia.
