because if it says that there are 35 members except 4 it means that all 4 are in the music concert so we have to subtract 4 - 35 then it gives us 31 members. So the hidden question is there are 31 members at a music concert and if the tickets cost them $8 to be at the concert and each. doubling 8 × 31 gives us $248 to be at the concert.
