A Terrible Day

I don’t believe in superstitions, but last Friday the 13th was simply terrible.
I woke up late because my alarm didn’t go off, but that was just the beginning.
I left the house as soon as I could, and I was on my way to work when my car ran out
of petrol. Then I took a cab but it turned out that I had left my wallet at home, so I had
to go back again! When I finally arrived at work, my boss got angry at me about the report I hadn’t submitted
before the deadline.
