A) He was born in Liverpool, England in 1940.
He wanted to be an artist. In 1962 he formed
the band “The Beatles" with Paul Mcartney.
George Harrison and Ringo Star. He married
Yoko Ono, a Japanese girl. The band divided in
1970. One of the greatest albums was "Let It Be".
In 1975 John's and Yoko's son, Sean was born.
On December 8, 1980. Mark Chapman, a young
man, shot John outside his home in New York.
John died in a police car on the way to the
hospital.
B) Edson Arantes Do Nascimento was born in
October 23, 1940, in Brazil. He was the son of a
minor league soccer player. He grew up in an
extremely poor neighborhood, where the only
entertainment for a poor boy was to play
soccer. He played for his first soccer team at the
age of eleven. Some years later, Brito took him
to Santos where he became one of the best of
that soccer team. In 1970 he played for Brazil's
World Cup team and brought the title to the
team. Then he played for the New York Cosmos
of the North American Soccer League. In 1977
the cosmos won the league championship and
finally he retired after that victory.

C) He was born in San Francisco in 1955. He
became interested in computers when he was
a teenager and attended lessons after school at
Hewlett Packard (HP). In 1974, he got a job as a
technician at the video game maker Atari. He
and Steve Wozniak founded Apple in 1976. They
developed the Mac. It was the first small
computer. He created Oscar-winning movies
such as "Toy Story" and "Finding Nemo". His
name has a connection to innovate products
like the iPod, iPhone, iTunes and iPad. His
attention to desing, function and style won him
millions of fans. He died in October 2011, at the
age of 56.
D) She was born in Albania in 1910, and died in
1997. Her real name was Agnes Gonxha
Bojaxhiu. She became famous all over the world
for starting the Missionaries of Charity in
Calcutta, India. She began this work in 1950 and
for over forty years, she looked after the poor,
sick, orphaned, and dying. She won the Nobel
Peace Prize in 1979 for her humanitarian work.
She decided to become a nun when she was 12.
She arrived in India in 1929 and became a nun
two years later. In 1946 she received a call from
God to leave the convent and help the poor.
She was an international symbol of charity.
visiting many countries to help poor children.
After she died, the Pope started the process to
make her a saint.
